“They have the income tax data that shows the number of people in Coal Harbour or Arbutus Ridge who are declaring 20,000 incomes while they’re buying $3 million homes,” said Eby.

“The province has all that information necessary to leverage the taxes on people who are driving unaffordability by using our housing as an investment instead of as a place to live.”
