This is an annual Fund Raiser for Brock House Society, a Seniors Activity Centre on Jericho Beach. Located in a historic 100+ year old home, the whole Vancouver community is welcome to this free event.
Opening at 10:00 AM sharp and going until 3:00 PM visitors will find high quality items handcrafted onsite by Brock House members (art, ladies crafts, porcelain painting, and woodwork), a Silent Auction, a “thrift sale” featuring books, jewellery, various household items, and don’t forget the delicious home cooked jams and baked goods for sale. Enjoy the live music provided by our Orchestra, Big Band, and the Jazz Band and don’t forget reasonably priced lunch items hot off the grill. If you are feeling lucky buy a raffle ticket with a $1000 1st prize or one of our 50/50 draws.
Brock House is an A listed Heritage House on two and one half acres of City parkland at Point Grey, this is our major fundraiser and assists the Society with both the upkeep of the Heritage House and our continued social, intellectual, recreational and other cultural programs for seniors.

The Centre for Sustainable Food Systems (CSFS), located at the UBC Farm, is a unique research centre that aims to understand and fundamentally transform local and global food systems towards a more sustainable, food secure future. The CSFS is a living laboratory, committed to finding solutions to both the local and global challenges facing food systems sustainability and translating solutions to improve personal, community, and environmental health.
The UBC Farm is a 24-ha teaching and learning space, and integrated production farm located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam people. Situated within a 90-year-old coastal hemlock forest, the UBC Farm comprises a mosaic of cultivated annual crop fields, perennial hedgerows and orchards, pasture, teaching gardens, and forest stands. The UBC Farm is certified organic through NOOA, and grows over 200 varieties of fruits, vegetables, and herbs, and also features honey beehives and egg-laying, open-pasture hens.
