Mummy Tummy & Me is having a ‘spooktacular’ fun-filled healthy ‘Halloween Yoga Party’!
This event will feature healthy Halloween nutrition that doesn’t have to scare mum! And a yoga party featuring costumes, games, prizes and Halloween themed postures, dance, and visualizations for kids. Health and wellness doesn’t have to be a bore!
The Lazy Jacks and Doug the Fiddler and friends will be back for one more entertaining afternoon at the Mill on Sunday, November 29th. Join the Old Hastings Mill Store Museum from 1 – 2 pm for sing-along sea shanties on the main floor, followed by an old time fiddle jam session upstairs, 2 – 4. Bring along an instrument and feel welcome to join in! Tea and cookies served, entry by donation.
Celebrate Christmas at Old Hastings Mill Store Museum in fine style with the Bergamasca Renaissance and Baroque ensemble, Sunday, December 20th, 1 – 4 pm, playing seasonal music on vintage and replica instruments. Take a break from the last minute rush and join ’em on the festively decorated main floor amidst the artifacts, listening to the beautiful Bergamasca sound. Tea and sweets served, entry by donation.

Who: Everyone who believes there is a problem in Metro Vancouver’s real estate market
When: Wednesday March 16, 2016 at 7 p.m.
Where: NEW LOCATION – Hellenic Hall, 4500 Arbutus St
Join MLA David Eby and local experts for an Emergency Housing Town Hall
This meeting is to discuss the causes of, and solutions to, an out-of-control real estate market in the Lower Mainland that has little or no connection to average household income. Issues of international speculation in our housing market, shadow flipping, real estate agent accountability, and other concerns will be addressed. Bring your stories, questions and concerns. The media, along with MLAs from both sides of the legislature, both BC Liberal and BC NDP, will be invited.
This is a meeting to hear stories, demand answers, and send a message to the Premier and the government to start to value the people of Metro Vancouver who make the communities we call home possible.
