This is an annual Fund Raiser for Brock House Society, a Seniors Activity Centre on Jericho Beach. Located in a historic 100+ year old home, the whole Vancouver community is welcome to this free event.

Opening at 10:00 AM sharp and going until 3:00 PM visitors will find high quality items handcrafted onsite by Brock House members (art, ladies crafts, porcelain painting, and woodwork), a Silent Auction, a “thrift sale” featuring books, jewellery, various household items, and don’t forget the delicious home cooked jams and baked goods for sale. Enjoy the live music provided by our Orchestra, Big Band, and the Jazz Band and don’t forget reasonably priced lunch items hot off the grill. If you are feeling lucky buy a raffle ticket with a $1000 1^st prize or one of our 50/50 draws.

Brock House is an A listed Heritage House on two and one half acres of City parkland at Point Grey, this is our major fundraiser and assists the Society with both the upkeep of the Heritage House and our continued social, intellectual, recreational and other cultural programs for seniors.

Join David at Brock House’s annual Christmas fair!

Brock House Society is holding a Christmas Fair on November 26. This in an annual Fundraiser for Brock House Society, where seniors stay young.

At the Fair you will find original woodwork created in the Brock House workshop, gifts and games,  crafts, jewellery, hand painted porcelain, home baking, a Silent Auction, holly, a raffle and carolers to add to the festive atmosphere.  Everyone is welcome and the event is free.

Welcome to the Day of the LongBoat

September 28-29, 2019

This signature UBC event takes place on the shores of Jericho Beach with over 3,000 people paddling in the largest voyageur canoe race in the world. Your team races in either just-for-fun or competitive heats to the finish line. You can also enjoy games at the Day of the LongBoat festival, and the facilities at the Jericho Sailing Centre.
