William Bruneau is Professor Emeritus at UBC who writes widely on musical, cultural and political matters. Was an elected VSB Trustee between 1990-1993.

John Malcolmson has been a researcher for CUPE for over 30 years, with a focus on public education and finance, justice issues and social policy analysis.
“Changes in Government Funding Policies: How they undermined both Quality and Equality”
Maggie Milne Martens is a parent of 3 children in Vancouver, an art educator and art historian. She is a founding member of the Parent Advocacy Network.

Celebrate Christmas at Old Hastings Mill Store Museum in fine style with the Bergamasca Renaissance and Baroque ensemble, Sunday, December 20th, 1 – 4 pm, playing seasonal music on vintage and replica instruments. Take a break from the last minute rush and join ’em on the festively decorated main floor amidst the artifacts, listening to the beautiful Bergamasca sound. Tea and sweets served, entry by donation.
Music at the Mill Museum
The Lazy Jacks and Doug the Fiddler and friends will be back for one more entertaining afternoon at the Mill on Sunday, November 29th. Join the Old Hastings Mill Store Museum from 1 – 2 pm for sing-along sea shanties on the main floor, followed by an old time fiddle jam session upstairs, 2 – 4. Bring along an instrument and feel welcome to join in! Tea and cookies served, entry by donation.
