UEL Area D Neighbourhood Plan

The University Endowment Lands (UEL) is developing a neighbourhood plan for Area D, a historic, mixed-use neighbourhood often referred to as “the Village”. The Plan will provide a community vision for the future, with supporting goals and objectives, and a policy framework to guide change and development over the next 20 years.

The Plan provides an opportunity to take a proactive approach to growth in a way that reflects community values and priorities. The first phase of public engagement events has recently finished, but community members who have an interest in Area D can stay informed or participate in the following ways:

• sign up for updates at PlanUEL@gov.bc.ca
• follow the UEL Planning Team on Facebook and Twitter @PlanningUEL
• attend engagement events or take a survey for the next phase in early 2019
