The Vancouver-Point Grey Youth Council is a group of high school students from across UBC, West Point Grey, and Kitsilano, driven by passion for their neighbourhoods and a curiosity for public affairs. Anchored by our weekly Friday meetings, our members volunteer, organize, and meet new people!

From Diwali to Greek Day, our members can be found at all sorts of community events throughout the riding helping fellow residents of the riding or just enjoying the festivities! We’ve even organized our own events, from a conference out at UBC to a virtual event raising awareness about youth mental health.

Furthermore, we bring in guest speakers from all over, from City Councillors to opinion pollsters to share their own experiences and teach our members a thing or two! The Youth Council has lots of opportunities for volunteering from graphic design to event organization and everything in between.
