West Point Grey Annual Fall Fair

Come celebrate the Annual Fall Fair and the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Accessibility Pathway at West Point Grey Community Centre! There will be performances galore, fun games and demos, face painting, and a BBQ from 12-2:30pm.

The Point Grey Village BIA and West Point Grey Community Centre have teamed up for one very awesome event in Trimble Park!

Come down to the field on Friday, September 11, from 6:30-10pm. “Big Hero 6” will be shown and a raffle hosted with fabulous prizes from businesses in and around Point Grey.

The Annual General Meeting of the University Neighbourhoods Association is open to all UNA Members and residents of Hampton Place, Hawthorn Place, Chancellor Place, East Campus, and Wesbrook Place.

David will be doing a presentation on “Five easy, secret tricks to convince a friend to volunteer”. If you live in the area, the UNA AGM is an event not to be missed!

An Afternoon of Music at the Old Hastings Mill Museum

The Old Hastings Mill Store – aka the oldest building in the city – is celebrating 150 years of bringing Vancouver together. On Saturday, June 13th there will be a Talk about the Fire of 1886 at 2 pm. The Bergamasca Baroque and Renaissance Ensemble will be performing on Sunday, June 14th from 1 pm to 4 pm.

Where: Old Hastings Mill Store Museum, 1575 Alma Street at Point Grey Road.

Wheelchair accessible! Entry by donation.

Kitsilano Showboat is celebrating its 80th anniversary!

From June 22 to August 15, you can celebrate local and exotic talent at the Kitsilano Showboat every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 7 pm. Weather permitting, of course.

The Showboat stage is located next to Kits Pool, featuring a view that only gets better with age – just like the Showboat!
