New anti-racism data act will help fight systemic racism

We’ve introduced historic anti-racism data legislation to address the systemic racism and discrimination faced by Indigenous, Black, and racialized British Columbians. This act will ensure data collected under the act is gathered and shared accurately and ethically so that we can address issues in programs and services, and better support Indigenous and racialized people across B.C. In partnership with Indigenous and racialized communities, we will continue to put in this necessary work and build a more inclusive B.C. for everyone.
