The past couple years have been incredibly difficult for farmers and ranchers in B.C. due to the effects of climate change. To help combat the effects of climate change on B.C.’s long-term food security, we’re providing new funding for B.C.’s farmers and ranchers. This funding will help farmers and ranchers protect their operations by adopting regenerative agriculture practices, improving farms’ drought resilience and reducing green house gas emissions.
