In our neighbourhoods

Vancouver-Point Grey includes the unique communities of Kitsilano, Point Grey, the University Endowment Lands (University Hill), the University Neighborhoods Association, and UBC. Our neighborhood is also home to great beaches and parks including Kits Beach, Spanish Banks, Jericho Beach, Wreck Beach, Pacific Spirit Park and the old growth forests at UBC.  Our constituents bring issues to our attention that are specific to our neighborhood as well as policy suggestions for British Columbia as a whole.

Feel free to call or email to send us a suggestion  regarding other issues you’d like to see addressed.

Your MLA in the Community
Thanks to Ross from Village Vancouver and to Emily, Lili, Vikas, Vani, Sihithi, Kirsten, Suzann, Carol, and Kellan for helping us put together origami packets of organic seeds to start the season right.  Come by to help us fold the next time, or to pick up some seeds for your garden.  We have herbs like bergamot, shiso and basil, edible flowers like nasturtium and borage, as well as beets, carrots, and radish and flowers for the pollinators.  Hooray for Spring!
Thanks to my colleagues, Parliamentary Secretary for Translink Bowinn Ma and Parliamentary Secretary for Seniors Anne Kang, for coming out to Vancouver Point Grey to talk with AMS & UBC students and Seniors at Kits Community Centre, respectively.  Always a pleasure to work with the AMS and to visit Snowy’s Lounge!  Thanks also to Isabella Falsetti Senior staff photographer, The Ubyssey, who shared the UBC photos with us: @thegoldenhourgirl
It’s been great to see you on my Fridays and weekends here in VPG: from Nardwuar, to @fluffysheepadoodlelola, to the UBC youth climate change conference organizers, and amazing regional science fair participants.
